Miss Pulcherie Gbalet, a figurehead of the civil society coalition against a third presidential term bid by Mr Alassane Ouattara in Côte d'Ivoire, was arrested on 15/08/2020 in Yopougon, a suburb North of Abidjan.

According to corroborating sources, she was taken to the Sebroko Hotel, former headquarters of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI).

It is believed that the once luxurious hotel is now housing a militia of former rebel fighters and Burkinafaso army deserters commissioned by the Abidjan regime for kidnappings and forced imprisoning, as revealed by cyber activist “Serges Koffi Le Drone” who was arrested three months ago in similar circumstances.
