GAGNOA: Mayor Yssouf Diabaté feels it for the needy

As the saying goes: "Times make men, and men then react on their time", we must clearly admit. It is a relief to have Mayor Yssouf Diabaté in the community. In these unprecedented times of COVID-19, the man who does not shirk his habits is working to strengthen the bonds of peace, faith and certainty by offering food items to his populations.
This burgomaster who makes no subtle distinction with his people has decided to be in the same boat as everyone else, to fight the spread of this deadly virus. He is aware of the hardship caused to many businesses by measures enacted by the government, as maquis, nightclubs, restaurants and other venues have seen their doors closed.
But for how long will they remain so? The mayor urges everyone to remain strong and hopeful. Several tons of rice and other foodstuffs have been distributed to those in need in and around the city from Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at the town hall. A proud citizen, Mr Gahe Daniel, thanks to the generosity of the latter, will have plenty of food for a long time, as he returned to his small family with arms full of donations. Gestures of goodwill to his population will not cease until this deadly disease is vanquished, says mayor Diabaté, always one of a kind.
