Abidjan- Easter 2022.

Donations to the Christians of Côte d'Ivoire - First Lady Dominique Ouattara is more than ever closer to her community.

On this Holy week occasion, marking the Easter festivities, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, President of the Children of Africa Foundation offered food donations worth 130 million CFA francs CFA to the Christian community, during a ceremony on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at her foundation's headquarters in Cocody.

The ceremony was attended by General Diomandé Vagondo, Minister of the Interior with his colleagues Anne Désirée Ouloto of Public services and Mys Belmonde Dogo of Solidarity and the Fight Against Poverty, joined by several Church leaders.

Dozens of bags of sugar, milk, couscous, cartons of peas, cooking oil and tomato paste were handed to the Christian community.

With these donations, the First Lady is eager to offer solidarity and support to poor Christian families days before Easter, one of the most important Christian festivals in the land.
