Abidjan, July 23, 2021 (AIP) - The Ministry of Youth Promotion, Professional Integration and Civic Service, through the Agence Emploi-Jeunes, signed on Thursday July July July 22, 2021 a framework partnership agreement with Webhelp Côte d'Ivoire to pool their resources to create employment opportunities for Ivorian youth.
This contract signing took place in the presence of the first head of this ministerial department, Touré Mamadou, on the 5th floor of the building of National Social Security Fund (CNPS) in Abidjan.
The collaboration will focus on the placement of personnel, in direct jobs and / or internships, with Webhelp Côte d'Ivoire and its subsidiaries, taking into account their needs and eligibility criteria.
During this collaboration, the objective will be to recruit 950 young people to Webhelp, ensure recruitment in Webhelp's human resources and skills, register job seekers in a professional project that will allow them to offer their skills within this structure and achieve better employability outside the company.
In addition, a recruitment forum for young jobseekers was set up with the support of Webhelp. Of these young people recruited, 300 will have a direct job, 450 in a qualifying internship and 200 more will benefit from a validation internship.
This framework agreement will run for two years, it says.
At the end of the signing ceremony, Minister Mamadou Touré expressed his pride in having a company alongside the government to help create integration opportunities for the youth of Côte d'Ivoire. He also thanked the managers of this company who spare no effort to integrate young people into the socio-economic fabric.
Webhelp Côte d'Ivoire is a French customer experience and business process management outsourcing company. It was founded in France in 2000 and is now present in 49 countries with more than 90,000 employees. The company has been present in Côte d'Ivoire since March 2017.
