CEPE 2022: Education Minister Koné Mariatou reaffirms the government's determination to eradicate fraud during the end of the school year exams

Abidjan. Tuesday, June 7, 2022 - Education and Literacy Minister, Pr Mariatou Koné, reaffirmed her determination to tackle fraud during school exams.
“The fight against cheating is our daily credo. The satisfaction is that despite all the schemes set in place by fraudsters, we manage to catch up with them”, rejoiced Ms Koné, on the day of Elementary Primary School Certificate (CEPE) exams session in Gonzagueville.
According to her, the previous years' networks of fraudsters, including teachers, parents, students and former students is dismantled. Our fight against cheating continues with the leitmotive “zero tolerance”.
“As long as there are fraudsters, we will continue to fight them. I think that little by little, candidates and parents will understand”, she added, encouraging students to focus and rely only on their performance and abilities to pass their exams.
In total, 703,498 candidates take part in these one day exams.
