Abidjan - President Ouattara prays for the end of crises in the world

For president Ouattara, The Eid-el -Kebir or Tabaski festival took place at the Riviera Golf mosque.
"On this day of the celebration of Tabaski, we prayed for peace in Côte d'Ivoire and for the various crises, health crisis resulting from Covid-19 and global economic crisis, to come to an end", declared M.Ouattara with vice-president Tiémoko Meyliet Koné by his side.
The celebration of the end of the Hadj in Mecca began with a prayer by Imam El Hadj Moumine Traoré, followed by the immolation of a ram as an offering of faith and a sign of generosity and sharing.
The Tabaski festival or Aïd-el-Kebir or the sheep festival takes place on the 10th of the month of dhou al-hajj, the last in the Muslim calendar, after waqfat Arafa.
According to Islamic tradition, this feast commemorates Ibrahim's submission to his God, symbolized by the episode in which he agreed to slaughter his only son, Ishmael, by God's order. Muslims are also recommended to multiply alms and gifts on this day.
